The Sea Turtle and the Bubble That Blooped

In water so wide
and wiggly blue
lived a small sea turtle
still learning what’s true

He paddled around
with a flip and a glide
through waving green forests
that swayed with the tide

Then out by a rock
with a glimmer and gleam
he spotted a bubble
that danced like a dream

It shimmered, it shook
with a bloop and a bop
it bounced in the water
and would not just stop

“Oh that is important
that bubble is key
the best little bubble
in all of the sea”

So off went the turtle
with flippity feet
chasing that bubble
with quick little beat

But bubbles go bloopy
they wiggle and spin
they slip with the current
and zoom from within

The faster he swam
the farther it flew
and all of his calm
went splish-splashing too

He turned and he twisted
he looped in the blue
then bonked on a rock
with a soft “bloo-bloo”

He paused in the water
so quiet and still
and something went soft
in his flippy-flop will

The bubble kept drifting
just doing its thing
not waiting for turtles
not offering a bing

“Hmm maybe,” he murmured
“not everything bright
is something I grab
and must hold with all might”

So he floated quite still
with a slow turtle breath
and let go of the rush
and the puff and the stress

Then bloop went the bubble
it wobbled back near
and paused right beside him
as if it could hear

Then bloop went another
then three more came too
then ten little bubbles
came dancing through blue

Bloop, bloop, bloop, bloop
went a bubbly parade
they twirled all around him
in sun-speckled shade

One booped on his nose
with a tickly “bloop”
he laughed so hard
that he spun in a loop

The ocean went giggly
the water went bright
with bubbles all bouncing
in pure bubbly delight

No chasing. No grabbing.
No hurry. No race.
Just floating and laughing
in one happy place

So if something looks shiny
and starts with a “bloop”
don’t race off in spirals
or tight thinking loops

Just pause like a turtle
and let the sea prove
