Transition to Data Ownership

Meta is stealing your data and brainwashing you.

The full video with The Diary of CEO is great but here’s the short:

Then Jack Neel and Professor Jiang in the first five minutes go over what Palantir is doing with big data- so don’t think it’s just harmless that they have all this information on you…

I redownloaded Facebook a year ago with the intent of business opportunity, marketplace browsing and perhaps staying connected with folks I wouldn’t otherwise.

I’ve concluded- if I’m not in contact with you through another channel other than Facebook, I’m really not involved in your life and you mine soooo best wishes. I can justify that I want to use it to further opportunities that arise, but fact of the matter is I succumb to doom scrolling more oft than any opportunity ever presented via social media and I’m tired of subjecting myself to the mental noise and bullshit that arises from it. I really only like the social validation of sharing a weekly thought of some flavor or update but it’s more for me than anything soooo.

If you actually keep up with my little rants and would like to continue to, I made a blog that’s basically my Facebook profile, I just own the data and meta isn’t constantly able to brainwash me:

I’ll keep this up for a week and then, Au revoir. Cheers yall.
